Mastur Failed Participate in Bintan Regent Election

Couple Mastur Taher Ali Akbar and Raja failed to become candidates Regent and Vice Regent Candidate at Bintan Regional Head Election (Election) District of Bintan in 2010. Section, Taher Mastur not be eligible to become candidates in accordance with applicable regulations.

Pay for entering Lagoi


Starting to pay a tariff to go into Lagoi area raised objections from people who mainly live in the District Sebong Bay. For many residents in the area who worked in international tourism in the region.

Lagoi Milleage become shorter from Tanjung Pinang

Bintan's West Cross road is still in progress. The Construction of six bridges connected, including Bridge Busung, Ekang, Anculai, Sei Bintan, Kang Boy and Gesek. As planned, the road is completed in 2010 and bridge were in 2012.

Tourist Visits abroad dropped to 19,780

Bintan Regent Ansar Ahmad told, the number of tourists visiting Bintan in 2009 decreased compared to last year. Decreasing in number tourists reach 4836 in 2008 in which as many as 360,349 tourists, while in the year 2009 range from 355,513 tourists.

National Electric Compnay ( PLN) Branch Tanjung Uban Prepare Electricity Balckout Taking turns

PLN Tanjunguban Branch plan to blackout for a month starting on January 2, 2010. Rotating blackouts done because the two generartor with a total of 1 Mega Watt power (MW) has entered the maintenance phase.

Four early childhood schools (PAUD) Bintan Visit Lagoi

At least 100 of the students from the four Early Childhood Education (early childhood) as Bintan, Wednesday (16/12) visit Bintan Resort Lagoi. The four early childhood schools include Ananda Tanjunguban, Kemuning and Lotus Series from Kuala Sempang and Bintan Permata from Kawal.
