Bus hit, BRC's employee Death

Misban Ahmad, 50 yrs, a supervisor of Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) in the water treatment plant (WTP), killed in a traffic accident, Thursday (17/12) at 07.30 pm. Victim died in hospital because he hit a bus while riding a motorcycle."The victim had regained consciousness a few moments after the crash," an eyewitness said the accident, Ardinal told reporters yesterday.


Ardinal explained, Misban hitted back part of the employees bus of Club Med. "At that time the victim was leaving work towards to dorm BRC," said a witness who claimed to be a Club Med employee. He added that morning it was rained quite heavy. As a result, visibility was extremely limited. Because of this condition, the accident had occurred.

The witness explained that he waited at the bus stop to go to work at Club Med. Had just one leg up to the bus stairs, suddenly from behind the vehicle he heard sound as a very loud crash. Hearing the sound , Ardinal looked toward the back of the vehicle. He saw the victim and his motorcycle lying on the right bus.

At that time, the victim was still conscious. Some employees who ride the bus tried to help by lifting the victim's body into a passing lorry and took him to the clinic of BRC . Unfortunately, the victim's life is beyond help before being assisted by doctor there. Earlier, police took the bus and the motorcycle to Bintan Police Headquarter. Chief of traffic affair in Bintan Police Rudianto Abdullah confirmed the incident. He said that the cause of the accident may be due to the rain and slippery roads.
